I am delighted to share with you a few thoughts on an exhibition project that recently came to a close, yet has left a profound mark on my artistic journey. The exhibition program at La Crescentina in Fubine, an enchanting town in the province of Alessandria, hosted a showcase entirely dedicated to the cornerstone of my artistic research: ceramics. The exhibition, evocatively titled “Mani di terra” (Hands of Earth), was curated by Marzia Capannolo and enriched by the careful and invaluable critical contribution of Paolo Repetto.

It was a great honor to exhibit my terracotta works—pieces through which I constantly strive to give form to the energy of colors, the vitality of nature, and a message of peace and harmony—placing them in an open dialogue with fundamental figures of the art world. Indeed, this collective exhibition united my voice with those of master artists such as Bruno Ceccobelli, Lucio Fontana, Maïmouna Guerresi, Nedda Guidi, Ana Hillar, Fausto Melotti, Riccardo Monachesi, Nanni Valentini, and Carlo Zauli.

This extraordinary event came to life in the splendid setting of a former barn, situated on the first floor of an ancient rural building. This place, where rural history meets contemporary art, is owned by Alessandro Monteforte. It was right here, in 2021, that he founded the art association La Crescentina, transforming these spaces into a truly vibrant cultural hub.

Beyond hosting this beautiful exhibition, the association stands out as a dynamic organization that consistently promotes a wide range of activities, from talks and workshops to live concerts. Of particular note is their sensitive commitment to emerging talent, materialized through the awarding of music scholarships—such as the one dedicated to the memory of Vincenzo and Barbara Miraglio, carried forward through the dedicated coordination of Fiorella Miraglio.

I sincerely thank everyone who visited the exhibition, participating in this emotional dialogue of matter and energy, and sharing with me the infinite and surprising expressive possibilities of the earth.

Of the two works on display, the one on the left is a 60 x 50 cm terracotta slab painted blue with numerous reliefs and a red circle in the center. The one on the right is a 120 x 90 cm painted slab with numerous daisy flowers painted on the terracotta, reminiscent of a couple holding a white moon. Both works are by Kazumasa Mizokami.
